Cagrilintide (10 mg Vial)
Dosing & reconstitution protocol
Quick Reference
Overview
Cagrilintide is a long-acting amylin analogue with a ~7–8 day half-life. This protocol uses 3.0 mL reconstitution for 3.33 mg/mL. Escalation every 2 weeks is more aggressive than semaglutide — monitor GI tolerance. The 4.5 mg maintenance dose requires a 3 mL syringe.

Storage & Handling
- ✓Lyophilized: Store at −20 °C (−4 °F) in dry, dark conditions; minimize moisture exposure.
- ✓Reconstituted: Refrigerate at 2–8 °C (35.6–46.4 °F); avoid freeze–thaw cycles.
- ✓Allow vials to reach room temperature before opening to reduce condensation uptake.
- ✓Do not freeze reconstituted solution.
- ✓Discard if solution becomes cloudy or contains visible particles.
