How to Reconstitute & Inject

A short walkthrough covering sterile technique, mixing bacteriostatic water, and drawing your dose. For research reference only.

Peptides are short chains of amino acids, typically 2 to 50, linked by peptide bonds. They function as biological signalling molecules, interacting with specific receptors and cellular pathways to influence tissue repair, hormone regulation, immune modulation, and metabolic function. All JA Performance Peptides products are synthetic, lyophilised powders produced through solid-phase peptide synthesis (SPPS) and intended exclusively for laboratory research.

All JA Performance Peptides products meet or exceed 99% purity as verified by Reverse-Phase High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (RP-HPLC) and mass spectrometry (LC-MS). Every batch is independently tested by a third-party laboratory, and Certificates of Analysis are available for all products.

A COA is a formal laboratory document confirming the identity, purity, and quality of a specific peptide batch. It includes peptide name, amino acid sequence, batch number, molecular weight verification, HPLC purity percentage, and testing laboratory details. Third-party COAs, issued by independent labs rather than the manufacturer, provide the highest level of credibility.

For long-term storage, keep lyophilised peptides at –20°C, where they remain stable for 2+ years. Standard refrigeration (2–8°C) is acceptable for weeks to months. Lyophilised peptides are stable at room temperature for several weeks, meaning standard shipping does not compromise quality. Protect from moisture, light, and repeated temperature cycling.

Once reconstituted with bacteriostatic water, refrigerate at 2–8°C and use within 28–30 days. Never freeze reconstituted peptides as ice crystals physically damage peptide structure. The bacteriostatic preservative (benzyl alcohol) loses effectiveness approximately 28 days after first puncture.

Allow both vials to reach room temperature. Wipe stoppers with alcohol swabs. Draw the desired volume of bacteriostatic water and slowly inject along the inside wall of the peptide vial. Never spray directly onto the powder. Gently swirl or roll between palms. Never shake. Allow 10–30 minutes for complete dissolution. The solution should be clear and colourless (GHK-Cu may show a slight blue tint from copper). Label with date, name, and concentration, then refrigerate immediately.

Bacteriostatic water is sterile, purified water containing 0.9% benzyl alcohol as a preservative. The benzyl alcohol inhibits bacterial growth, allowing multi-dose use over up to 28 days. This is essential because each needle puncture introduces potential contamination. Sterile water without preservative should only be used for single-dose applications.

Cloudiness can result from concentration being too high, temperature shock between cold peptide and room-temperature water, water being injected too quickly, or simply needing more dissolution time. Allow 15–30 minutes with gentle periodic swirling. If cloudiness persists with particles, discolouration, or unusual odour after extended time, discard the vial.

This is purely cosmetic and does not affect potency, purity, or usability. Lyophilised powder can arrive as an intact puck, cake, fragments, or loose powder depending on peptide type, batch characteristics, and handling during transit. The peptide reconstitutes normally regardless of physical appearance. Verify the powder is dry and white to off-white with no discolouration.

Lyophilised peptides stored at –20°C maintain stability for 2–5 years. At refrigerator temperature, they remain stable for several months to over a year. Once reconstituted in bacteriostatic water, use within 28–30 days refrigerated. The limiting factor is the bacteriostatic preservative effectiveness, not peptide degradation.

Yes. All orders ship in plain, unmarked packaging with no product names, descriptions, or peptide-related branding visible on the exterior. A generic return address is used to protect customer privacy.
