Tirzepatide (10 mg Vial)
Dosing & reconstitution protocol
Quick Reference
Overview
Tirzepatide is a dual GIP/GLP-1 receptor agonist. This protocol uses 3.0 mL reconstitution of the 10 mg vial for 3.33 mg/mL concentration. Dose escalation occurs every 4 weeks. Doses above 1.0 mL require a 3 mL syringe.

Supplies Needed
- ✓Peptide Vials (Tirzepatide, 5 mg + 10 mg): 2 vials
- ✓Syringes (include 3 mL for higher doses): 12 syringes
- ✓Bacteriostatic Water (10 mL): 2 bottles
- ✓Alcohol Swabs: 24 swabs
Dosing Protocol
Schedule
Inject once weekly subcutaneously on the same day each week. Titration pace: increase every 4 weeks only if tolerated.
Cycle Structure
Protocol length varies; weight management research typically extends 20+ weeks. GI tolerance is the primary rate-limiting factor for escalation.
Timing
Consistent weekly day. Doses above 1.0 mL require a 3 mL syringe.
Storage & Handling
- ✓Lyophilized: Store at −20 °C (−4 °F) in dry, dark conditions; minimize moisture exposure.
- ✓Reconstituted: Refrigerate at 2–8 °C (35.6–46.4 °F); avoid freeze–thaw cycles.
- ✓Allow vials to reach room temperature before opening to reduce condensation uptake.
- ✓Do not freeze reconstituted solution.
- ✓Discard if solution becomes cloudy or contains visible particles.
Important Notes
- ✓All products sold by JA Performance Peptides are intended strictly for laboratory research purposes and are not approved for human consumption, veterinary use, or therapeutic application. Not for human use.
- ✓Use new sterile insulin syringes for each injection; dispose in a sharps container.
- ✓Rotate injection sites (abdomen, thighs, upper arms) to reduce local irritation.
- ✓Inject slowly; wait a few seconds before withdrawing the needle.
- ✓Document daily dose and site rotation to maintain consistency.
